How do you portion your meals?

Our meals are portioned to have 6 to 8 ounces of protein, and 8 to 10 ounces of sides. These are generous portions that will fill you up.

 

DO you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Yes, we can accommodate most dietary restrictions, please  just leave us a message when you place your order and we will do our best to accommodate. If there are further questions you're welcome to give us a call (970.263.5709) to discuss! 

WHAT If I have a food allergy?

If your allergy is severe, we caution you as we process these items in-house and don't have dedicated equipment to100% ensure something may come into contact with an allergy item.

DO you offer meals for celiac disease?

We do not have dedicated equipment to 100% ensure there is no contact with gluten, but we do offer gluten-friendly options for those without severe reactions to gluten.

 

Where are meals prepared?

They are prepared in our certified commercial kitchen located at the Grand Junction Convention Center, formerly Two Rivers Convention Center.

 

How long do your meals keep in the fridge?

Our meals are prepared fresh so they last 3 to 5 days in your refrigerator. Each meal will be labeled with best by date to help you remember when to heat and eat it by.

 

Can I put containers directly in the oven or microwave?

Yes, we use sustainable containers that are both oven and microwave safe.

 

Can I freeze these meals for later?

Yes, if you can't get to the meal before the best by date just place it in the freezer for later use. We recommend before you heat a meal that you pull from the freezer the day before. Place the meal in the refrigerator to thaw before reheating. Cooking time may be extended if the meal is still slightly frozen when re-heating.

 

Do I need any additional ingredients to complete my meal?

Not unless you have a favorite condiment! We do all the work, so all you have to do is heat and enjoy.

How Long Does it take to Prepare a meal?

It will just take pre-heating your oven. We do all the hard work so you can enjoy more time to enjoy family and friends!

 

How do I prepare my meal?

All meals will be labeled with the recommended heating process for both oven and microwave.

 

Sometimes the cooking instructions are incorrect, what do I do?

Our heating instructions are in general, you may need to take into consideration that your oven may run hotter or cooler and adjust timing accordingly. We recommend you use a food thermometer to check the internal temperature of your food.

 

How often do you change your menu?

Our menu is changed weekly and is available for pick-up or delivery Tuesday through Friday.

 

How many or how much...(calories, fat, protein)...is in an entrée?

At this time we can't give exact amounts for meals as we don't have the proper tools to correctly label nutritional facts.

 

Do I have to subscribe to a plan to get meals delivered?

No, unlike other services we do not require a subscription to be able to enjoy our meals.

 

How do I cancel an order?

You can contact us through this website, or email info@grandjunctionevents.com, or call 970-263-5709 to cancel an order, and we will do our best to accommodate you.  However, cancellation is not guaranteed based on when you alert us to  to an order, but we will try our best to accommodate when possible. 

Where do you deliver?

We deliver to the greater Grand Junction area. When you place an order it will let you know if we deliver to your residence. For large order requests or out of area delivery requests, you may call 970.263.5709 to see if we're able to accommodate those requests.

How will I know if my meal is on the way?

We currently don't have a tracking system, but delivery hours will be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Tuesday through Friday. We will try to deliver as close to the requested time as possible; if there are specific requests such as "no earlier than" please put those in when you order your meals.

When do you Deliver?

Our delivery window is from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Tuesday through Friday.

Do you do contact-less delivery?

Yes, just leave us a message with your order and we will have our delivery driver drop the food at your door. return to their car and text you that your meal is at the door.

Do you deliver orders on the weekend?

No, we need to give our staff a few days to rest and prepare for the next week's selections.

Is there a minimum I need to spend in order to get delivery?

Yes, orders must total at least $15 for delivery.

Is there a delivery charge?

Yes, we have a delivery charge of $5 per order.
